Inclusivity and Practicality

Creating this event has been a wild ride and a fun learning experience. People tend to do things at the last minute, and event planners have to set things in stone weeks or months ahead of time. For this event in particular, we've gotten a huge amount of traction quickly as the ticket deadline has loomed, and lots of people are only just now finding out about it.

We don't want anybody to miss it. AND, we can't just pull stuff out of a hat for 100 people who show up out of nowhere. Lucky for you, we're pretty creative and we have a great relationship with the folks at the Holiday Inn.

So here's the deal. After August 1, you will still be able to get a ticket for another couple weeks. It's called the "Better Late Than Never" ticket, and it gets you into the event and gets you fed. You will NOT get the fancy goody bag, but let's be real: it was never about the stuff. It's about seeing the awesome people who did amazing things together at a time of revolutionary change in technology.

We want as many people to come to this event as possible, AND we have to balance that with what is possible to provide when you get there.

With that in mind, I do also need to make this perfectly clear: there will be NO ADMISSION OPTIONS "AT THE DOOR." Think of that like showing up to a friend's house at random without an invitation and expecting a three-course meal -- it doesn't work that way and you don't put people you care about in that kind of awkward position. The catering team needs a final head-count on August 20, and once we have given them that number, that's the end of it.

Please get your ticket as soon as you can, and we'll see you there!
