INFO, LEGAL, DISCLAIMERS AND ALL THAT

This site is an online home and information hub for survivors -- er, alumni -- of U.S. Robotics Corporation as it existed from 1976-1998, prior to its acquisition by 3Com Corporation.  The site is run entirely by volunteers.

Because we have held an event (and will likely hold another one!) that involved collecting personal information and money from people, it is important to us that everything we do is transparent. If you have any questions at any time about how we are handling your personal information or your money, we will gladly explain our process and show you anything you need to see.

Michael Greene, Fran Fruit, and Michael Bakula helped us out by creating some fun graphics that we have used on this site, including old USRobotics logos and product images. It is our belief that the use of these graphic elements falls under Fair Use, and we intend no infringement of copyright or any legal right of the current Unicom-owned USR entity.  We are not in any way affiliated with the Unicom-owned USR, and nothing on this site is intended to communicate for or about, express an opinion about, or represent that company in any way.

TRACY LUNQUIST

Instigator

It should be stated that this was actually Casey's idea. I'm just running with it. I should be blamed for creating this website, making Fran do a lot of work, and chasing people down in LinkedIn.

FRAN FRUIT

Reality-Checker

Fran did 75% of the work on the August 2022 reunion event, and has more than earned her retirement, but her name and image remain here as a tribute (and as a placeholder until we find at least five people to replace her!)
